Swings and Roundabouts

Collection cover image

Phil Bancroft's first album as leader, with a Trio featuring UK's Steve Watts on bass and New York's Marcello Pellitteri on drums. It was recorded in 1998 after Steve and Marcello joined Phil for a week's residency in the legendary Henry's Cellar Bar in Edinburgh,, The album's release was a bit of a disaster in 1999 at the launch of Caber Music- a newbie label mistake meant review copies were sent out after the launch, which meant it received virtually no reviews from the mainstream jazz press, but it has now been released and is getting lovely radio play all over the world. Enjoy!

I can only play the first track (I am a paid up subscriber). I've heard it a few times now and it is great, but I'd like move on through the album...
